Ume Musubi Gold Mizuhiki Collection
Each Mizuhiki knot is customized for a specific event, such as a wedding ceremony or birth. The history of Mizuhiki knot dates back to AD 607 when a Japanese delegate presented the Japanese emperor with a gift from China. This gift was decorated with a red and white twine knot to symbolize „safe travel”. Since then, the Japanese have used the same style, recreating the knot and starting the tradition of giving presents decorated with a Mizuhiki knot.
Ume Musubi is a knot inspired by the shape of plum blossoms (Ume means "plum"), extremely popular in Japan.
Originally believed to ward off evil, plum trees are often planted near-critical religious sites such as shrines and temples.
With Awaji Musubi and Musubikiri, Ume Musubi is difficult to solve, making him the perfect symbol of a close relationship, commitment, closeness, uninterrupted promises, etc.
In Japan, plums also represent happiness, longevity, and maturity. Therefore, it is a trendy choice for bride accessories.

What makes Japanese hair products different from Korean hair products?
Korean products focus on answering immediate hair concerns and offer wow effects, whereas the Japanese philosophy is based on prevention and sustained results. Korean beauty follows the hottest trends of the moment, while Japanese beauty has its roots in long-lasting and proven rituals and traditions. Korean beauty embraces a faster pace, while Japanese beauty focuses on a slower-paced way of life, believing that breathing, contemplating, and mindfulness should be embraced.
